There are seven scientific staterooms on board the vessel:

(One head and shower for each two rooms.)
1 - Scientist rooms, lower deck, two bunks per #9 - #10 2
room, small desk, two lockers, washbasin.
(Permanently assigned to Marine Technician
and Electronic Technician)
1 - Scientist room, lower deck, four bunks #11 & #12
three lockers, drawers, head and shower. #14 & #15 4
(This is a small room and provides only
marginal comfort if used by four persons
over an extended period.)
1 - Chief Scientist room, lower deck, two bunks, #17 & #18 2
two lockers, drawers, head and shower.
1 - Science berth, lower deck, one bunk, one #13 1
locker. (FEMALE ONLY) with messman.
1 - Science berth, lower deck, one bunk, one
locker. (MALE ONLY) with Cook/Steward. #16 1*
Total 18
* All other berths must be filled before using the Cook/Steward Berth. The Assistant Cook's spare bunk can be used with any berthing arrangement.
Note: Stateroom assignments will be made by the Chief Scientist. A berthing plan must be prepared and posted for inport periods as well as at sea for emergency situations (evacuations etc.)
