A common-use equipment request should be filed at least three months before cruise date. These are generally sent to chief scientists scheduled for WECOMA ship time at least six months in advance (see Appendix 8). Contact the Marine Technician with any questions. Users are responsible for ALL SHIPPING COSTS from Corvallis to loading port and return, and are responsible for all staging costs at Corvallis and loading/offloading ports. This includes all cranes, containers, agent's fees, storage, forklifts, trucking, etc. Estimates can be given on request.
