We ask users to be considerate of WECOMA's paintwork and crew by ensuring scientific equipment, such as portable deck machinery and vans, are reasonably free from rust and are in good condition and mechanical repair. Rust stains and oil are time consuming and expensive to remove from painted surfaces. In addition, oil leaking unto decks makes for treacherous footing and poses a safety hazard to all on board. WECOMA's engineers are willing to assist with minor repairs to keep equipment running during a project. However, their other duties will not permit them to provide extensive repairs or overhauls to equipment which was not in good repair when brought on board.
