Requirements for Railroad Wheel Mooring Anchors

In the interest of safety, we request that all users of the WECOMA planning to deploy any type of gear needing stacks of railroad wheels for anchors be guided by the following:

• Anchors should have at least two "pear links" welded on the sides for connecting tag-lines. The base of the pear-links should be welded to the topmost railroad wheel.
• Second, "re-bar" should be welded vertically down the side of the anchor on at least 3 sides.

This arrangement will allow safer handling and securing of railroad wheel anchors.
